exactly. Not sure how 'helping fullbacks' makes an all time great striker if I'm honest.

And servicing strikers. Don't forget how he services the strikers.

Lukaku looks quality and to me looks like he could be as good or better than drogba. Whether he will realise his potential at Chelsea I doubt it. Though if they leave him another season or two at a decent footballing side like the baggies I see no reason why when he returns to Chelsea he could be something special.

As to welbeck for me he is nothing more than a good quality squad player.

With a bitching hairstyle. How cool would he look wearing a full on John McEnroe early 1980's sweatband?

Exactly that, I can't see him ever becoming more than a squad player. Long way short of being an elite striker... Something I feel Lukaku has the potential to become

(To the tune of that's amore)

Agreed.. We need players like him in the team I'm not knocking him either he is a decent player but a potential superstar he isn't.

Another one to the same tune makes me laugh also about Zamora.

If your sat in row z and the ball hits your head that's Zamora. .

I think he'd have to lose the dreads & go with a massive fro, for that combo to have the full bitching impact.

No, not slating Welbeck at all. I do like him and like seeing him on the team sheet, he's a good worker and always puts his all into every game. Just lacking that extra something special at this stage to take him to the next level.

So tobes do you reckon you'll hold on to fellaini?? I'd love us to sign him. Partly due to thinking he could be just what we need and also because of his fro which is tremendous.

I'm afraid not. Only us reaching the CL this season would have maybe altered that, so as it stands I reckon he'll ask to leave in the summer & he'll move on to a CL club. I'm sure there'll be plenty of interest, so hopefully that'll force the fee up.

I'll be gutted to see him leave, but won't begrudge the lad, as he's been straight enough about it & we'll hopefully be able to buy 2 or 3 with his fee.

My all time favourite, was Spurs fans at Portsmouth after Campbell had gone there - "you're only here for the sailors"
