I appear to be one of the very, very few of us who was happy with that decision (albeit I obviously wasn't happy with the Dutch Duo being the replacements!). Didn't rate Pearson's time with us at all, and I don't really rated him as a manager full stop.
That relegation race is even more mental than the one happening in the Prem...fourteen teams within five points of the drop zone, with many of the teams around the line having games in hand. Last year, 41 points would have been sufficient to avoid the drop, 43 the year prior; this year, the line sits at 47 points with most teams having 6-7 games remaining.
That analysis from Neville was very good and very complimentary. I'll try and whack some footage up at some point.
Yep. "Southampton are playing some of the best football in the division at the moment" was my favourite bit! We could do with a nice 1-1 draw here I think, to keep QPR down, and keep Fulham within reach!
Just mentioned the coverage on the "angry" thread, it was incisive and unbiased, which makes a change.
Going down, going down, going down, going down. I still want to see Berbatov get bullied by Samba a few times in this match.
No word of a lie, I was half way through putting a bet on for 5-0 nil when that second goal went. You just needed to wait 10 more seconds Berba!! I do however repeat: £12m and £100k-a-week of talent right there!
Just had a glance at the QPRdot.org forum and the state of delusion on there is unbelievable "we only need 5 wins" is quite a prevalent theme. You're not going to win 5 games you fools, no matter what 'arry says.
Away from home, in a derby, against a team in form. Yes Harry, recalling the selfish, non-defending, Taarrabt was always going to be the right idea! No coincidence in my mind that they've won a couple since dropping him, however talent he may be. Loving this. Just need Fulham to get the third, and put this to bed. Not quite over yet.
