Gas pipes retro- installed srtaight after the refit in the only emergency stairway instead of bring boxed in ot rerouted.. Yep cheap option. Those gas pipes ruptured spewing gas to feed the fire and fire brigade couldnt get past for 40 minutes whilst the supply was cut and gas stopped leaking. Water pipes installed directly above fuse boxes and sited by the outer doors of flats stopping people getting out instead of having a fuse cupboard. Anotner cheap option..
