Agreed but played to their strength they don’t try to go toe to toe with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester and get stuffed by several goals. I do wonder how they would have faired with the same transfer budget that we’ve spent for the the past two seasons

In an ideal world I’d have liked Lampard and Everton to have finished below them. It’s also hard to dislike them as much without Dyche
They’ve had or should have had a similar budget to us over last two seasons. Also been in pl several seasons now so have somehow blown all the cash. Agree on shutting up shop against city and Liverpool. Looking forward to seeing how we handle arsenal and Chelsea over next few weeks before squad rebuilding begins

I don't like them end of. I wouldn't heap any sort of praise on them. <ok>

think their money lined their owner’s pockets. They had it… just didn’t give it to dyche to spend.

I think dyche is one of those guys you like if he’s yours but don’t if he’s not. I never had a problem with him as such just the anti-football his teams played… which is likely a direct consequence of the budget point made earlier.

whichever… he ‘s gone. Let’s hope there’s no caretaker bounce and they get humped by the shammers today.

I’m less concerned by the manager change than I am by how average the shammers have been recently and the impact of their away euro trip on Thursday

When Burnley go down will their fans stop calling us their feeder club <laugh> Lennon Taylor and Wood

Seriously they are still a huge danger to us, they have games against Newcastle, Southampton and Watford that’s 6-9 points and if they hold on to the win today they’re 6 behind us with a game in hand. Goal difference is huge, I wouldn’t want to go into the last game of the season with them just 3 points behind
