Really? I thought it was quite a good game. Anyway it looks as if Lampard will be at Chelsea next season.
I thought that Chelsea's ball retention and passing general was poor. Cahill man of the match in my opinion, what about yourself?
I thought it was a good game. Torres was my man of the match. Cahill was solid though. He's proven he's a top centre back over the past 2 seasons.
Oscar Cardozo looks a class act. 31 goals in 43 games this season is impressive. He always looked a threat throughout the match as well. His overall record for Benfica is 105 goals in 157 games and at 29, he's in his prime. Cheque books across Europe at the ready!
Bradford for me, Boothroyd winds me up - especially after his antics when we played his Colchester side. Oh, and also: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/210179-The-Play-Offs-Thread/page13
A couple of weeks back I predicted Bradford were going to get themselves out of Lge 2, simply because they've had recent experience of the big occasion. And so it looks to be proved. Mind you, the quality has been hit-and-hope from both sides, with the only decent stuff seeming to come from Bradford. You'd think someone would try to get the ball down and play it where it was meant to be - touching the grass. Northampton haven't a hope while they persist in lumping the ball forward after winning back possession.
My goodness me, the word must have finally got around the Cobblers. They've strung a few passes together and actually look like a football team. Too late now.
