Perhaps, but if it opens up more opportunities for women, I can live with it. For the flip side of things, the NBA has had two female refs, one of whom didn't last long, and the other (Violet Palmer) is not very good, even by the somewhat-questionable standards of NBA referees. There'd be pushback for any other female referees breaking in as a result, sadly. And she is a genuinely good lino...she understandably ends up under the microscope, and she rarely seems to get anything major wrong. There might be others who are equally good toiling in the anonymity of their maleness, but she certainly deserves credit for getting so much right in an exceedingly difficult environment.
Yeah, I eventually realised in time. Just watching the Football League Show, and Martin Allen's personal emotional pleasure, at Gillingham becoming League Two champions, was quite touching.
No one can guarantee coming back up. We shot straight through the Championship, but wouldn't want to try that again. Don't think QPR are the right team for the Championship at the moment...they need a clear out and a complete rebuild with hungry players who are not coasting. Also need a new manager, because Redknapp makes my blood boil The danger is that if he leaves he could end up being touted for every PL job going or on TV as a pundit Think I hid my prejudice well
People shouldn't be so quick to judge. She is one of the best assistant's in the league. She always seems to get the big offside decisions right including one yesterday.
So today is the inevitable day when Celtic win the SPL, and the media have to treat it like it's a really big deal even though no one cares.
Under 21's are 3 0 up at West Brom. Ryan Seager who played 90 minutes for U 18s in their 2 2 draw yesterday, has come on as a Sub and scored the third goal. OG and Sinclair the others.
So you're 3-1 down after leading for most of the game. Do you bring on your best striker or do you bring on a CB and a winger/striker that's barely played a game all season?
