It's not panic, it's realism. If any of our players went into the game this weekend saying "oh we're fine" I wouldn't let them anywhere near the pitch. If Wigan win this, hopefully it will give them all a kick in the arse that actually, we're not fine...,
This why I have hardly posted on the football related threads for past weeks. Way too many people over panic and have like a fit . It gets boring.
I'm baffled as to how people can say "You need to chill" like those who are worried are just being silly. I can accept that people think we'll survive but if Wigan win tonight Southampton are one point above the relegation zone having lost two games in a row. We're also on a run of 3 games without scoring and 4 games without a win. If you can't be concerned about relegation in that situation then when can you be concerned about relegation?
Gives Saints more breathing space with a draw. I said last night, Wigan fail to win tonight Saints are safe.
Because neither Newcastle or Sunderland or Norwich are unlikely to get more than 3 points from their remaining fixtures. Which means all we need to do is beat Stoke. 2-1 Wigan.
I don't mind people that have concerns it's the doom mongers that piss me off. The ones that only turn up when we lose or something else bad has happened.
Oh yes, I totally agree that it's fine for people to worry about our survival hopes. We're in trouble, and if we lose two out of two we're almost certainly down. My issue is simply with people who are getting stressed out at Wigan winning this game tonight. It's not like they're winning 2-1 at Old Trafford. I could understand people getting stressed and annoyed at that!
