    Absolutely shocking decision from the assistant. Clearly a good yard or so onside. There have been a lot of poor offside decisions this weekend.

    Anyone hear the program on fivelive this morning about how referees at all levels are verbally and physically abused up and down the country?

    In MLS Cup Final play this evening, Columbus keeper Steve Clark did a Rob Green impression in the opening minute of play, resulting in a goal, although he made some excellent saves later in the 2nd half to keep the score at 2-1 as Portland squandered numerous opportunities. Portland captain, Liam Ridgewell was a pivotal player marshalling their defence.
