Ok. My head says that we will almost certainly go down, but looking at the run in, it may just be that another 7 points will keep us up. Thus sending Burnley, Sunderland and Hull down.

It's the hope that kills me.

I'm constantly looking at all the fixtures for all the teams and working out different permutations of who's getting points from who. Sometimes we stay up, sometimes we go down. It's gonna be tight and it's doing my head in.

I think we'll go down also. Mind you everything is possible as palace and leicester (maybe) have proved. Wins from west ham, liverpool and city matches (yeah, right!) and we are almost safe. Then again if we lose to west ham its all over....

It could happen. I'm preparing mentally and emotionally for the drop but it really is not over just yet.

You seem very confident about Burnley's chances? Like us they are on 26 pts and Sunderland (29 pts), Hull (28 pts) and Leicester (28 pts) also all have a game in hand.

Not very confident - not sure I am confident about any outcome. Just seems more likely than others. I'd really like to be confident about Rangers staying up! Where there is life - there is hope...

I think that Villa and / or Newcastle could still get caught - depending on how they play. The Geordies don't seem to be a force, Villa rely on Benteke (said through gritted teeth), however as Burnley can't seen to buy a goal I guess they may fill one of the spots. Sunderland......I think that they and Hull - well at least one will go down and that then leaves us and Leicester. I only hope that next week, Green plays a blinder and reminds West Ham of the keeper they once had. I would rather we had played Man City today with their "confidence in tatters" before they played West Ham.....a big defeat for the hammers could mean that they take out the beating they will get on us.
Common you R's do it the way you always do....last game of the season, last minute goal and we stay up

Despite recent poor performances I think Newcastle on 35 pts, with a game in hand, are likely safe, edging their way to lower mid-table mediocrity, and with another win, Villa will be in the same boat.

A Hi, Ho Silver Lining moment for Villa - Wembley Stadium half empty with Liverpool fans quickly departed.
