No political movement or organisation owns the black power salute, it's owned by the people and is a sign of solidarity against racial injustice.

Considering we're the upholders of free speech and actions on this forum I'm surprised so many find it offensive to be honest.

If someone says to you, "love thy neighbour" and you answer, "I used to love that" then you're in.

Not a definitive answer granted but should cover most on this forum.

It was funny though, wasn't it ?

Some of the 23s player marks today for those who could feature Tuesday against Fulham:
    Cody Drameh - 8
Unplayable at times down the right, there was little Liverpool's left-back could do to stop his marauding forward runs. Crosses were weighted excellently, and his link-up with Miller and McKinstry top notch.

    Charlie Cresswell - 8
Dominant first-half performance before his customary half-time substitution. Vocal, leading by example and even Cruyff-turned away from danger at one stage inside his own defensive third.

    Leo Hjelde - 7
Another good showing from the new boy. A full 90 minutes at centre-half. He looks much more comfortable there than out on the left. Good in one-v-ones.

    Sean McGurk - 8
Very alert in his 60-minute stint, McGurk was great at nicking the ball off Liverpool toes in the final third.

Demonstrated nice close control and quick feet throughout.

    Amari Miller - 8
Needed some encouragement in the early stages but once he clicked into gear, Miller showed his true ability for perhaps the first time this season. Energetic, purposeful and dynamic on the right flank during the first half, then on the left for the second 45.

    Joe Gelhardt - 10
Two absolute wonder-strikes from Joe Gelhardt today and a brilliant assist. A hat-trick of goal contributions and superb work-rate throughout, hassling central defenders all the way to Leeds' own corner flag on occasion.

    Sam Greenwood - 7
Introduced at half-time and brought that blend of silk and aggression. Battled well in the middle and linked up with Gelhardt on one or two occasions. It often goes unnoticed but the ground he covers, the decoy runs he makes and his general work-rate are a key reason he is so valued by the Leeds coaches.

    Stuart McKinstry - 7
McKinstry was another half-time substitution and combined well down the right with Drameh throughout the second half. His set-piece delivery was impressive.

    Adam Forshaw - 8
Controlled it in the middle during his 30 minutes on the pitch. Very calm, composed, never seemed to break a sweat and set up Joffy for his second goal.

Think the Black and White Minstrel show is top trumps.

Lots to discuss and dissect there.

    Never heard of that one.

To be fair they're all white chicks where I live, we have let a few Irish in but don't get me started on the dogs.

    Here's the burning question Doc.

Joffy hits that shot (2nd goal) against any goalkeeper in the world and he scores, but can he do it on the big stage ?

Bloody well hope so and if he does then you'd have to say holding him back will be seen as a masterstroke. He's fitter, leaner and consequently as sharp as he's ever been in his short career.

The lad's got every chance so fingers crossed for him.

Strange you've never heard of a 2004 film that was quite popular but you know about a song and dance show from 1958...time warp malfunction around jammy world, maybe straw dogs will be on your watchlist now

The kid is special and it was obvious to everyone who watched the 23s last season. He makes things happen in every game which is a fact. He scores all types of goals another fact. He wins penalties in every other game as he is hard to stop. 95% of the penalties won by a Leeds player are won by Joffy. This is why I say he is way better than Roberts. He played in 16 games last season and scored 11 plus 3 assists and already scored 4 this season and 2 assists. Theres a reason countless clubs want him

For me this is his time...fit and on form.

So he starts Tuesday and then comes off the bench Saturday to make his debut (PL).
