    Yeah he gets a €1m signing on bonus and £45k per week which is almost double what he got at Leeds. So fair play to him and at least he isnt in Gala..

    Aski answered it perfectly .. as for foreign players OVER 21 yrs old, they get "settled" status after 3 years in UK, which means no more work permit issues but they are still foreign for Euro competitions and don't count towards homegrown quota .. it's going to become more difficult to sign "good" foreign players as they will struggle to get work permits unless they are established Internationals and play a high percentage of games for their clubs .. however, this will probably only have a big effect in the EFL where say a Sheff Weds won't be able to sign a journeyman German centre half so easily as in past
