Should be 4-0 already but Imobiler missed 2, Berardi is firing blanks and Imobilier left unmarked 4 times but no ball coming in. Still think it’ll be 3-0

Game over could be anything now with Austria pushing forward in chase of goals. Italy had the better chances and overall deserved it but Austria took them all the way. As 8 speak Austria nearly score think I will shut up now lol

Italy are real contenders now with 32 games unbeaten and in this tournament 4 wins and a +8 goals. Austria showed how to get at them though. England really need to up their game or they will be in the same class as a poor Wales and Scotland

Even allowing for Austria to not score first the Italians appear to have a strong squad. England have two stand out players. Kalvun the first game and the young Arsenal kid last game. But Italy have confidence and a strong bench. You can spot a team likely to do well.In the past there was netherlands/france/germany etc. Beat germany and the next game looks much easier. Winning the group was key to progress.

Well its Sunday and the media havent got a clue about our transfer plans, heres some of the headlines today and which player they refer to:
    • Leeds close in - Nahitan Nandez
    • Leeds very close - Nahitan Nandez
    • Info direct from Yorkshire - Nahitan Nandez
    • Whites enter advanced talks - Junior Firpo
    • Exit claim - Noa Lang
    • Barcelona Link - Junior Firpo
    • Arcelona Fire sale - Junior Firpo
I personally cannot see any of these happening, although would welcome all 3. Nandez has a £30m buy out clause which is more than we are willing to pay, I believe. Junior Firpo has a £175m buy out which is a joke anyway, but if you think Barcelona would sell him for £15m? Cannot see it. Noa Lang has just been bought for £5m as per his buy out clause, but Club Brugge want to quadruple that at least. Brugge are bunch of greedy bandits

My guess none of these are coming to Leeds

We know how it works, Orta does the preliminary then he gives the list of possibles to Bielsa then Bielsa says yes or no after doing his own investigate work. For this reason, I don’t believe Noa Lang is an option I’d be amazed if Bielsa wants a young disruptive player. I think the other two are contenders though, I’m at the stage now where I want a LB to sign and Leeds withdraw the Alioski offer, he’s had long enough to consider it now. I don’t like the thought that Alioski will only stay if he can’t find a better offer. He’s loved by fans, he’s had an enjoyable time here, he either wants to still be part of what’s happening here or he doesn’t.

Yep. Alioski should have been told weeks ago that there is the offer, sign it today or get the **** out.

With regard to Nahitan Nandez theres a piece doing the rounds that summarises what has happened and what is happening.
    • Well know Bielsa is a Nandez fan
    • Story has been around since 2019
    • One story says too expensive
    • Another story says Bielsa demands Nandez and to pay £30m
    • Then there were stories based upon the ones above.
    • The latest story states the only common denominator is The Betancourt Group who are players agents and represent Abel Hernandez. Remember him and the run around he gave us when Bielsa wanted him.
So it more than likely is a story whipped up by agents who are trying to get players pay rises, new contracts or transfers.

Just found this from 2013 and seems Betancourt has form

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has claimed that Uruguayan striker Abel Hernandez is not for sale, and hit out at agent Pablo Betancourt by stating he is trying to force through a transfer for his client.

The freshly-relegated Rosaneri are playing in Serie B this season, but 23-year-old Hernandez has plenty of admirers willing to offer him top flight football with Roma, Napoli and English giants Arsenal all being linked with the player in recent days.

“Abel Hernandez is a little boy and like all little boys he is controlled by agents who are thirsty for money,” Zamparini told stadionews.it.

“When I see his agent, I’ll kick him. He, [Pablo] Betancourt, wants a transfer to go through because he would earn a percentage of the transfer fee.

Makes you wonder how our sports journos get employed when all they had to do was do some checking before writing fake news headlines?
