I get what people say about Klich and his runs off the ball , its when he has the ball thats the problem he hasn't been at his best since Bielsas praise of him, we may as well sign Mo Farah to do the runs and let Klich get on with doing what he used to do best

Whilst yes we dropped 3 points against a team who parked the bus to a large extent we should remember the score line was only
0-1 it’s not as if we got played off the park
Agree 100% the only disappointment though is that we had a collective bad day and we didnt have any decent crosses or killer passes from out wide to capitalise on. The number of times Costa Raphinah Harrison Ayling Alioski, Dallas, Roberts got into the box and wasted a pass, they would have been better waiting for the tackle to put them on the deck for a penalty. You would think by now we would know how to get past the bus as we have to do it a lot. Everytime though yesterday we wasted the final ball and thats why I was hoping we just held on to the ball and waited for the tackle that gave us a penalty.

Having consulted with ' Captain Hindsight ' overnight it's clear Bielsa got his team selection wrong.

No Grealish and no Barkley in the Villa line up and let's be honest very little threat from Villa all night. Struijk is incredibly easy to mark in the KP position, his movement to find space is laboured and that means our play out from the back lacks the usual crispness of passing to work effectively. Captain Hindsight concludes that playing Alioski from the start would have been the better option with Dallas in a midfield role.

Helder Costa had his best 45 mins for ages against Southampton but Captain Hindsight concludes he was promoted to the starting line up too soon. Much better to have brought him on at HT again when the game has settled into it's pattern and he could have focused mainly on attacking as defending wasn't really a requirement 2nd half.

Captain Hindsight could only see a 2-0 Leeds win with those corrections <ok>

Well Marcelo Jammy I cannot fault this plan and have emailed Radz so expect headhunting very soon <laugh>. It would have made more sense though..

In hindsight

Yeah brilliant and the most relaxed season as a Leeds supporter I can ever remember. We get beat but just shrug as our target was to finish 17th and we will beat that easily :emoticon-0148-yes:

unless a fixture change has happened the U23s should be playing down at Palace tomoz and if so I bet you will see some fired up players trying to make sure Bielsa sees tham as first team for next season. Gelhardt has been on the bench for the last 4 games and therefore missed the last 23 match, so expecting him to smash it tomoz. Greenwood likewise as long as fit again, Drameh who has been up there with player of the season pretensions, Huggins, Kenneh and Summerville
Two of the next three games are in London and we’re still not past that magical 40 points target :emoticon-0107-sweat

Here's an interesting one for discussion...

Watching Palace v Fulham and it's just been said that Fulham have 6 loanees in their starting 11.

Thought, that can't be right as PL rules only allow 4 loans per club with max of one from each individual PL club. Turns out that is for domestic loans only and you can have unlimited international loans...what utter bullshit.

Earlier this month Fulham fielded 7 loan players during their match against Sheff U and it's perfectly permissable.

40 points hasnt been needed for over 10 years and the average is around 34. Yes possible that we could need 40 but I think we have already enough to survive. I think WBA and Sheff Utd are gone fightnow between Fulham, Newcastle, Brighton and Palace for the 3rd relegation place

Just had a look at the remaining fixtures and I am guessing at us getting a minimum of 11 points and there are some tough games to come. Few draws in here as we have only had 2 all season so far and wins against teams below us will do nicely. 46 points is a lot less than some estimated based upon our average points per game taken so far. However Wolves and Villa we took nothing and we took nothing from the last Brighton game....

Depends what happens today Doc.

If Fulham win it will be game on for all from Southampton down.

When you factor in results against teams who are ' on the beach ' then it's entirely possible that 40 might be needed and remember Sheff U once went down on 42 points.

It looks like we've made a mistake replacing the ER pitch mid season. Now we're having a dry spell the old pitch would have started to improve and by spring we usually saw it back to something reasonable. This new one however won't improve and as feared players are going through the top of it and slipping and sliding all over the place. To be honest it's borderline dangerous.

Captain Hindsight again :emoticon-0136-giggl

Plain to see Bielsa foikwdup his team selection once again. Pascal is no holding mid but Llorente is but he persists convinced by his own views.
Many teams play 20 year olds but not us. Just to be clear i am talking about the u23s in general (no matter what age). Honestly this myth about Bielsa bringing younger players through is just that.
