Remember all last Summer Liverpool story was all about Ben White and the reason Brighton knocked back our £30m bid which made them look stupid. Liverpool have no cash thats why they soent £4m on a Championship CB and loaned another without an option to buy

Joffy has now scored 7 from 11 games and most of those have been as 10 and only playing half a match. Sam Greenwood has 8 from 13 games but his last half dozen games has been as a 10 too. Sam missed a penalty today and so too did Joe the last time he took one. These 2 players are very close to being first team ready. No Huggins or Cresswell today will they be on the bench tomoz? Cody Dremeh and Crysancio Summerville both played a full 90 minutes today along with Greenwood, and yet again they are both in a different class to anything in Prem League 2. So thats 6 wins on the bounce well done boys

    Well impressed with Summerville.

@Doc , any idea where Summerville disappeared to for a while?

He looks better than Costa and Poveda to me. He would be frightening off the bench with 20 minutes to go. I wonder if him missing a few games is just slightly delaying him making the step up?

Gelhardt should be on the bench instead of Roberts.

As for Greenwood, I think he should stay with the 23's this season as he looked way off the pace against Crawley.

Today in fairness to Greenwood he was given the No8 role for the first time and it didnt suit. He was frustrated a lot today but hey they played against 5 Boro first teamers and Warnock was there to see his boys. So in fairness our mainly U18s did well only allowing them to score twice. Bielsa likes Greenwood above Gelhardt and think he wants him to adapt to different roles.

Summerville went missing for weeks and weeks and then Gelhardt went missing also for weeks. Something happened within the academy and then we found out that Darren Arnott left the club to go to a Norwegian club as academy stats guy? As soon as Arnott left both players were available the same weekMy view is Arnott upset Joffy and Summerville and was sacked or allowed to resign?

Liverpool have geared themselves towards a possible spending spree for the 21/22 season. Taking a gamble on a young CB winning the Championship with a club is far different to an attacker who is starting to stand out in a Bielsa team in the PL.

I honestly fear that we’ll not be able to hold on to him. Never mind, the rest of this season to enjoy yet I guess

Just had a look at that page and there was a link to the whole squad's wages. Now have no idea where they got the information from, nor whether it is true or not, but there are some interesting figures mentioned.

Jay Roy Grot - £35k per week ( I know he has now left but can see why he didnt just want his contract cancelled, if we were paying him that much)
Tyler Roberts - £47k per week
Stuart Dallas - £35k per week ( seems low compared to to the rest of the regular starting 11)

Well done spotting that link! I missed it completely, which I'll put down to colour blindness. Honest! :D

Great colours....white,blue,yellow, didn't we used to go with combinations of those...maybe I'm just a traditionalist, but we should still be doing it :emoticon-0115-inlov

Agreed, home strip predominantly white with blue and yellow trim.
Away strip all yellow with blue and white trim, all this maroon and black and green stripe sh1te don’t cut it for me and many more, only those who are making buckets of money out of the public and loyal supporters.

I like that it's predominantly white but the 17 stripes on the front for Rob's 17 seasons don't appeal to me. I wish they'd thought of something else to symbolise it. Even really light stripes like on the back would probably appeal more to me. I love that they've done this for Rob and MND though.

    Beep! Beep! A Leeds legend.

i think its the sponsors that have marred the shirt a little, maybe could have had smaller logo's for this shirt...perhaps a small faded pic of burrows on the back as well, but as you rightly say....great player, great club, great sport..beep beep courageous fella

The front Leeds Building Society advert is a little on the large side, it’s the huge white square background that spoils it. I quite like the 17 stripes but the way they suddenly stop on the white squared advert looks awkward
