Controversial maybe, but the question needs asking:

Dan James one of the hero's of the last two seasons, negotiated heavily for a new contract this summer. Farke was desperate to get him to sign and said so. James got a pay rise and a new contract, but so far this season we have missed Dan James as he’s been poor. He could have added the quality we needed today to help us win the match but hey ho. Is it just a slow start from Dan and he will be back at it soon? Or did we slip up by not looking at the “Dan James Premier League Data” he was poor for Man Utd and poor for us in the prem and was then loaned out to Fulham but hardly played and sat on the bench.

We easily had the best team in the Championship (in my opinion) and that was proven in a way by the final points tally and distance to 3rd - Farke did what I expected he should have done.

There is a big gap between top of the Championship and the 4-5 teams who avoided relegation though, a gap we needed to close with 3-4 signings who’d be first name on the team sheet.

Mate I was simply pulling your wire. It’s so Leeds to think we are way above Championship standards that we implode if we don’t win it and so below Premier League standards that we implode if we don’t sign everyone we’re linked with and lose 5-0 to Arsenal. So much nonsense written about our club it’s a bit embarrassing tbh :emoticon-0148-yes:

One marquee signing could be all we need. Ever struggling Everton got Grealish and two more assists yesterday for another win, already topping the leagues assists

Me to Joseph didnt come to the party as still no goal but was playing against Real Madrid. Gelhardt now scored 2 in 3 but he walks on a free next summer
 
Question of the day:

if we struggled to buy any forward players, that could be because we were not willing to overpay. However as everyone now knows we are desperate and anyone we go for now will have our pants down. So thinking the players we may have been in for are going to be better than whoever we go for now. Seems to be a false economy and wasting weeks

I really like gnonto and bogle together. Id be happy with James as a sub when legs are tiring <ok>

Feeling good bud. Under no illusion we’ve no threat going forward especially James. He’s pretty hopeless so far. Stilll think we’ll be helped when the top eight or whatever start having midweek European nights and our lads are resting. Might lead to the odd unexpected win or draw. No doubt though the next 36 hours are among the most important for many years. I’m not confident we’ll get the required quality

We will get two in mate. I have faith.

And if they are of decent quality and we can kick on, those 4 points will seem an even better return
