I have been watching womens football for 20 mins. It's spurs v mersey reds. It's football jim but not as we know it. Anyway opened a can of thatchers to see if that makes a difference and it has. The football has not improved but the ref has got better looking.

Take a look at the distance between Cooper and Firpo on the goal we conceded as it's outrageous, whereas when Archie Gray pushes up to mark his winger Joe Rodon cover the ball down the channel superbly.

Think that sounds fair enough as Firpo has been out for about 6 months it would be unrealistic to expect him to come back and immediately hit the ground running. However he's likely to be on a large wage and if Farke thinks he's not up to scratch it would be better to loan him out and sign a replacement in January. Without Struijk and then Byram after his injury we looked a lot weaker down the left hand side of our defence compared to the right. In fact young Archie Gray looked so good it's difficult to see Spence getting in once he returns from injury and Rodon is just getting better and better every game.
