If you want quality football in a shiny new stadium you have to be prepared to pay for it

When you look at the contracts handed out you really need to think we have been stitched up for some of these. These are the players we still have at the club who may or may not be here in a couple of weeks:
    • Cooper to 2024
    • Ayling to 2024
    • Dallas 2024
    • Drameh 2024
    • Shackelton 2024
    • Poveda 2024
    • Bate 2024
    • Costa 2024
    • Klaesson 2025
    • Firpo 2025
    • Cresswell 2025
    • Hjelde 2025
    • Perkins 2025
    • Joseph 2025
    • Gray 2025
    • Meslier 2026
    • Greenwood 2026
    • Roca 2026
    • Bamford 2026
    • Summerville 2026
    • James 2026
    • Gyabi 2026
    • Monteiro 2026
    • Wober 2027
    • Adams 2027
    • Struijk 2027
    • Gnonto 2027
    • Sinisterra 2027
    • Harrison 2028
    • Rutter 2028
Many of these are kids for the future now drafted in and many are just shyt and not good enough but given huge contracts like Bamford, Harrison, Struijk.

That’s the point though, as Americans they probably haven’t realised it as they don’t have relegation there. There will be a lot of head scratching in a couple of years when the parachute payments mysteriously stop

Rickie Fowler, has pulled out of investing in LUFC, due to the relegation.
Jordan Spieth and DJ still onboard.
Russell Westbrook, NBA player, net worth 200m$, is investing though.

They have been involved with the club long enough to know how relegation works.
As investors they probably are in a better position to make money, a simple promotion would secure that.

Bit of a joke this is:

Luton Town's first home game back in the top flight has been postponed after the club could not assure the Premier League and opponents Burnley that improvement works at Kenilworth Road would be completed in time.

Great weekender as always Doc so many thanks <ok>

Regarding the loans at least they've all been done early and whilst some of them have ability it's probably best we revamp the squad from last season. Obviously not ideal for the new manager as normally a relegated club can rake in a good few million from player sales to re-invest but that still may happen of course.

Looking like Tyler Adams is still some way off being fit to return to training so that might work in our favour but still a long time to go before the transfer window closes.

So far then the best thing to happen has been Daniel Farke plus his coaching team arriving at the club on 4 year deals and have to say I've been very impressed by how he conducts himself and he seems a class act in all departments so far.

Hopefully this proves to be the start of good decision making by our new owners.

Are all the loans deal done or are there others who have that stupid clause. How about Firpo who still has another couple of years on contract. Rumour of Galatasary wanting him on loan. We dont know if Adams and Sinisterra have the loan clause. Wish we had sold Harrison last January because instead we gave him a huge pay rise and a massive contract, but hearing he has a relegation clause that allows him to leave cheap, we would have been better off getting the £20m from Leicester instead of the potential of losing him now for £13m when he is worth £35m at least

What about Dele Alli on loan for the season ?

Seriously needs to rebuild his career and could be the goalscoring midfielder we've been craving for years now.
