Hope we can talk him into staying for one season to give it a real go at promotion. Adams as well, I personally don’t think one year in the championship will affect their international places. Go with our blessing at a reduced price if we don’t make it. That is at least the discussion I’d be having with them.

Well, the other thing that is doing the rounds is that (new chairman) Marathe has been in contact with key members of the squad persuading them to give us one more season.

I just hope the key members are the likes of Cresswell, Dramah, Adams, Harrison, Summerville, Gnonto and not Cooper, Koch, Forshaw, Aaronson, Firpo, Ayling and Bamford.

Forshaw was not put on the retained list. So Forshaw is not considered worth of a contract. Rads is clueless but the 49ers have far more sense.

I sincerely hope it is NOT Forshaw or Aaronson (who is simply the worst midfielder I’ve ever seen in a Leeds shirt). We know Koch won’t be here. The others might form part of a decent squad. Firpo might not even get booked as much in the championship with his constant fouling <cheers>

Problem being if all the one's go that want to go, do we have time to replace them, possibly 4/5 of the u21's good enough to progress. We will have to dig our heels in with a few.

Firpo is **** bud. He might get a game for Dorking Wanderers in the conference.
