Weekend Debate

Lots of stories about who we are trying to buy, but FFS nothing is going to happen until we know where we will be next season. It means whatever happens we are last out of the blocks with purchases, last out of the blocks will player sales and player loan deals. This season has been yet again a monumental screw up
Personally Doc, can’t wait for my Spurs trip. One way or the other, after that we get to start again. Just want this nonsense to be over at this stage. It’s like one of those bad horror series on Netflix, about eight series long with a ****e ending

It would be cheaper to be relegated. Bournemouth only would get 2 years parachute money i have read. If we stay up at least five players are needed.

Has there ever been a manager who refused to pick the fans player of the year? After the shyte season we are experiencing fans can only see 3 players who stand out for their effort and commitment. Tyler Adams, Willie Gnonto and Rodrigo. One is injured now so can’t help, one is always subbed off or plays second fiddle to a broken Bamford and the other never gets on the pitch. Surley Gracia is watching a different game

We need goals, we need to attack and peg them back in their own half and we need a sold base with pace:
Meslier
Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Firpo
Roca, McKennie
Summerville, Rodrigo, Gnonto

Subs
Forshaw, Harrison, Georginio, Kristensen, Bamford, Gyabi, Perkins, Struijk

Team to run themselves into the ground and be replaced as and when needed.
Kristensen can cover anywhere on the right side of defence and even in the middle. Forshaw the middle
Georginio can cover either flank or CF
Harrison flanks and 10
Bamford 9
Gyabi DM or AM
Perkins AM or 9
Struijk anywhere on lefts side of defence

Gracia has to gamble and cannot afford to sleepwalk into the Championship

I believe Gracia has mismanaged Gnonto, Rodrigo and Georginio hence my inclusion above. Georginio is potentially gold dust but ignored and needs a chance to shine and prove some people wrong

Roca & McKennie were much improved against Leicester but both need replacing for the last 20/30 mins of games. Who we replace them with depends on the state of the game at the time.

Could be any of;

Forshaw
Greenwood
Gyabi
Gray
Struijk
Kristensen

Tell you what just do some sprints in training and whoever's quickest gets the nod because I'm sick of the seeing opposition midfielders leaving our players in their wake.

Maybe give them a football to practice kicking too

You could be onto something Doc, at the end of the day we aren’t very good with 11 players in the starting lineup <whistle>
