Chelsea 15:00 Southampton Everton 15:00 Leeds United Nottingham Forest 15:00 Manchester City Wolverhampton Wanderers 15:00 AFC Bournemouth Manchester United 14:00 Leicester City, Sunday Tottenham Hotspur 16:30 West Ham United, Sunday Now it gets serious, next weekend.
To be honest, I don't care who takes it as long as they keep us up. I didn't think we'd be back in this position after the season we had last year. We're good enough to stay up but at some point the lads have to win games.
Look at who is running the club. Rads proves regular he still knows nothing about football. We have one player for some positions where a lot of prem teams have two. We do not have a playmaker or free kick taker. We bought a player to develop in rutter who is worse at the moment than Gelhardt who can at least see a pass.
Last night at 11:30pm I posted about this guy jumping into Sky Bet as the favourite for the job. The answer was on a Reddit forum, a poster put it was a silly rumour started on Waccoe as fans were discussing out of work coaches. One guy posted on Waccoe that Schreuder had been spotted in a Leeds Hotel. It set off a frenzy of bets before someone did some sniffing and discovered on a Man U forum that Ten Hag had arranged to meet up with him as they have worked together and are friends, Ten Hag had got him a ticket to the Leeds game I'm preying that this was the genuine reason Leeds United head coach candidate seen with recruitment chief at empty Elland Road after loss - Leeds Live (leeds-live.co.uk) This sounds worrying though
I just put "Alfred Schreuder" into the search bar of twitter, the Leeds board are getting more abuse over him than anything I have seen before, it seems to have been fueled by both Adam Pope and Phil Hay. Pope saying he saw him at the ground as he was leaving, this had a handful of angry replies directed at him by a few pointing out he was a guest of Ten Hag and they are good friends but he purposely omitted this fact. Pope And Hay, they will be part of the cause if the board feel they have to rush something through to quieten the fans down, both trying to get clicks and responses by stirring up a bad story that they know is likely untrue
The guy was sat with Gaby Ruiz our European head of recruitment, which to me seems like it’s more than a visit with ETH, why didn’t he visit him in Manchester earlier this week why go to an away match when his mate will be back on a coach not long after the final whistle?
Read the link I posted, he was seen chatting to her after the game in an empty stand along with another of Vics team. If Vic wanted him then there would have been a proper meeting, it shouts out he was at the game with a ticket supplied by Ten Hag and asked to speak to someone as he’d like to put his name forward If there is any truth in the rumours (and I pray there is not), then my guess would be interim coach until we can get Gallardo or Iraola. The Internet including the BBC all seem to believe there is more to it. It would be typical because this is the one I’d convinced myself was fake and no go
I thought I'd try spot the manager. Let me know if you see anyone of interest? please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Hay and Pope now talking about him taking over until the summer. If he keeps us up and does really well he could be offered the job. However more likely is that Iraola agrees and takes over, Gallardo says he wants to do something in the summer and Slot too has said he will not do anything half way through the season. God knows how this ends but betting we find out tomoz
If Schreuder is announced, the social media backlash will be like nothing ever witnessed before. On top of that, last week the club announced that all the targets were currently employed. I just hope this is all garbage and we announce Nuno tomorrow
This could be the last season for Victor Orta as there are muttering of boardroom unrest. Hearing that the board and 49ers wanted to sack Marsch before the WC break so that a new man could come in and change things and have time for a mini pre-season. Orta argued against and felt vindicated when we got the Liverpool result. Fast forward to present date and the board are about to be embarrassed badly by not only failing to get any of their first choices (4) but now being bounced into someone they never even considered. Radz white smoke tweet was because Vic told the board he could get Iraola and failing that Gallardo. The board are looking stupid. Vic isn’t the 49ers favourite person and if the takeover happens they have their own ideas about DoF. Bullet for Vic anyone
Victor Orta divides opinion and always will do. It was easy to forgive his failing in the coaches he put forward when we had Bielsa, now those previous failings smack you in the face once again with Marsch and the chaos at the moment. Likewise signings, Gnonto was definitely his biggest positive, Augustin pure embarrassment. Many of the other signings, Raphinha, Wober, Llorente, Koch, Adams, Aaronson we might never know which were coach choices, which were Ortas. Then you get a player like Rodrigo who seemed a huge waste of money under one coach and a great signing under another I used to wish him gone, now I’m on the fence. He’s there at every game passionately getting involved like the binoculars at Villa who’d forget that moment. We don’t know the extent to which he was prepared for this new coach search. Maybe he thought Jesse was safe then suddenly Radz and the 49ers had that sudden change of heart and caught Orta on the back foot with preparations
