A few reports saying we’re considering Big Sam as Interim until we can get Gallardo in the summer. I’d prefer sticking with the U21 coach myself (until the summer).

If we really want Gallardo in the summer, ask him now, who will he bring as assistant and fitness and get them in now. They can settle in, report back to him and start getting to know the players

Just because Gallardo won’t be ready until the summer it doesn’t mean his backroom team can’t be brought in sooner

Hoping for a breakthrough this weekend as most reports are now saying Iraola wants the job and Rayo don’t want him to leave as it could stop their European aspirations which is lots of cash to them. Twitter can be a good source. I only follow proper sports and football journalists and I haven’t seen one report of Big Sam as an interim coach yet. Only this “come and get me” article posted here.

Surely we can’t be. His contract would have finished at the end of last season as he only signed for a year at a time.
