I like the way we’re playing - it’s like Bielsaball on steroids that probably puts me in the minority. We’re still exciting to watch but we at least look like we have a chance against the better teams and we’re not getting mullered.

Better than being a Stoke or Burnley of the PL which I was worried we’d become after Bielsa left.

Cut out the individual mistakes, keep entertaining the masses, and we’ll be fine.

Not a style of play for the purists but I’m not one anyway. Used to love it when Revie’s Leeds went ahead and shut up shop but the current Leeds aren’t good enough to do that so we play to our strengths. Yes plenty of leads will be frustratingly thrown away but plenty of lost causes will be retrieved. It’s the nature of the beast.

We’ll survive but not by grinding out results. It’ll be by playing entertaining, exhilarating football - which at the end of the day is what the game is all about.

The current muppets Eire may be about to change if we believe the new speculation. Radz has been appointed to UEFA Childrens Board, so will not be able to Chair Leeds Utd every day of the year. He has also flogged one of his businesses for big money. 49ers seem to be ready to purchase Radz 52%, but if they are going to do that surely they have a plan, and budget to improve their new business. Pointless buying out Radz and sitting on their ass gambling

By the way the 49ers will only need to find £208m as they already own 48% of the club if the sale price is £400m, so they already have £192m invested

Regarding Marche and our style of play earlier this season I posted about how it was all a bit same same and dreary to watch. That however has all been blown out of the water with the second half display against Bournemouth and yesterday at Spurs.

Thrilling edge of your seat stuff with one going for us and one against, no complaints from me if that's how we perform going forward

 

A top quality striker is always difficult to get at a decent price, at anytime let alone January, so I'm not holding my breath for one. But defenders better than we have shouldn't be that difficult to find, so no excuse if we're let down in that department, let's not forget, they've had 4 months to be looking.

Does not matter who the coach is. Cooper and his like are not the answer. Captain coops i hate that blind loyalty to players.

Hjelde and struijk are better than cooper.

 

We have three centre backs in charlie, pascal and Leo. Llorente and cooper are done at leeds.
Left back is a priorty in january and could be our only signing till we have a summer clear out.

 

Left back has to be the priority. Then an upgrade at right centre back. Give struijk some time at left centre back to see if he can cut it. I always see a player in pascal but when everyone talks about him as a shoe-in I’m reminded of what a car crash he became there last year. Something people seem to have completely forgotten. I hope that was just a confidence crisis.

 

Struijks lack of pace worries me. We need a rapid RCB to cover him.

 

Unless the tactics and unbalanced formation is causing the errors? For what it’s worth, I don’t like the system he uses and I think he needs far better players than he has to make it work.

 

This in a nutshell. We don’t / can’t defend as a team.

According to reports in Spain, the Yorkshire outfit are plotting a bid to sign Osasuna striker Luis Ezequiel ‘Chimy’ Avila after impressing in LaLiga this season.

Despite renewing his contract in Pamplona, there is a chance that the 28-year-old will still be on the move after the Qatar World Cup. His return to form post-injury has piqued the interest of Spanish top-flight rivals Sevilla, as well as the Whites.

As per the report, Avila has a €30m (£26m) release clause – as is the norm with contracts in Spain – and it’s believed that director of football Victor Orta is willing to pay around €22m (£20m) in what would be considered a ‘very generous’ offer.
