Got sacked for losing the club much needed money. But then again he might not have.

Philips shoulder gone again so out of England squad and needs surgery again. We were lucky to get rid. Turning into another sick note

Do not turn big bucks down because you never know when they will get injured. If someone offered really good money for Harrison i would sell.

Only for those with a strong stomach - even the supposed best don't get it right all the time.

Lets hope Bamford isn't a biscuit and he is fit enough to start our next game. Rodrigo should also be fully fit and deserves to start or play just behind Bamford. Gnonto had a lot of praise from those who saw him Friday night and Joffy must now be seen as 4th choice now. My advice to Gelhardt is he needs to force his way back into recognition. It can be done because Summerville must now be back in contention

Joffy is still no'1 back up and first replacement for Bamford. Gnonto will be intoduced slowly down the left flank as the season progresses. Summerville though is more of a wild card and will now get plenty of game time on both the right and left wings.

The future is starting to look promising.

Have to say Darko Gyabi continues to impress me as well.

Still learning the game but at only 18 years old he has all the attributes to be a top player.

Oh and Victor Orta is absolute dogshit and should be fired immediately. The bloke is just cluttering up the place with top young talent and not signing the ageing plodders that we've all come to know and love.

Just get rid of the fecker now.

I agree that he has all the attributes. He needs to learn when to take risks and when to do the easy thing.

Just because he has quick feet and a burst of pace doesn't mean he should be trying to nutmeg people on the edge of his own box as he did (and failed) on Friday night.

Looks promising but needs to learn before he is considered for the first team. At the moment PL midfielders would just pick him off.

I hope Gelhardt starts to improve because him and Greenwood in my view are being passed by the new guys in the squad.

Agreed that he’s a long way to go before becoming a first team star but compared to say Phillips at age 18 he’s looking very promising indeed.

Give him about 12 months and he’ll be ready to break through as physically he’s ready now.

More that the new young guys are to some degree unknown quantities so are getting plaudits from fans but have yet to show it on the pitch at first team level.

I’m sure Jesse is very happy with how everyone is doing including Joffy and Greenwood.

There is no reason that at aged 20 Joffy shouldn’t be playing regular first team football unless he’s not good enough.

Agree with this and I should have mentioned that Mateo Joseph and Sonny Perkins are pushing and doing exactly what Joffy did 2 years ago. Maybe Joffy looks at these 2 and thinks I was the future once

Orta I like him. He wants the best for the club. He's passionate and shares the emotional ups and downs.
Nobody can get it perfect ask any club. I'm sure he has numerous players in his books but are just out of our reach due to our finance and club status.
You can see what the club are trying to do. buy young and make a profit on any future sales. Yes, at the beginning we had to do a few adjustments but that was to compete and get a foot hold but in general we have done a good job as we are still there.
Our objective was getting back in the Premier League. okay Orta alone wasn't the only factor in that but was part of the team that did. Which is a massive positive in itself.
every club has failures yes, we have had some stinkers, but we also have had some gems. Let's be honest here who had even heard of Raphinha nevermind how good he even was before we signed him a very few I'd think if everyone was honest.
Thing is when something goes wrong the fingers go pointing if it's not Radz its Orta if its not Orta it's Bielsa,Jesse, Cooper or Firpo or Rodrigo so on and so on. There has to be a scapegoat to Avent the anger it just goes hand in hand with Football.
Llorente was the dogs bollicks with fans last season early doors we need him back I can't believe he's injured again. Now he's back in the swing people want him out after a poor run. He's went from hero to zero. I agree he hasn't played well of late but this is the time to get behind him not slag him off. He doesn't go out to purposely play shyte.
I'm happy with the backroom staff and owners we have got a budget and are competing very well within that budget. We can't get them big players as of yet and maybe we will never be able too as either we can't afford them or cater their needs ie European Football.
It's going to be slow progress for us as we have to build from the bottom and then sometimes in-between get knocked down again ie Phillips,Raphinha leaving. If we can get anywhere near the top 10 it's a fantastic achievement for our club under all the current circumstances.
    MOT !
