Yesterday showed we needed a striker. Rodrigo was struggling and should have been replaced but obviously Marsch doesnt trust Joffy yet. So if thats all we have we need another striker even a big lump could have changed the game by going long ball a bit…

plus side was Llorente should have scored and so too should Sinisterra

I was calling for a Kieffer Moore type signing last January. He would have cost 6 million.

Sinisterra should score. Its a sitter.

Llorente actually turns his back on the ball. An act of cowardice. If he man's up its a simple header and its 1-1.

But hey ho, they are a good side and yet we stayed in the game right until the end. Last season we would have conceded more.

When comparing this season with last we need to take into consideration that last year we took 16 pints from 18 from the demoted sides, can we do the same from the newly promoted sides ?

    Deffo this.
Pluss games like Everton where we suspect they are going to be in trouble, is actually a 6 pointer in reality as it moves us further away from them. The Chelsea win can also be classed in that league as not many near the bottom will take any pounts off them, we did. :emoticon-0148-yes:

What's our record against teams managed by Lampard ?

Seems to me he usually gets one over on us.

Funny old game. Scum and Liverpool fans in great form, our lot like we’re on brink of a relegation battle. Strange as we’re ahead of both of them on table. Should count for something

Indeed, 2nd game last season Leeds v Everton, hard fought 2-2 draw, wouldn't have expected both sides fighting relegation until game week 37 and 38 <yikes>

Derby, won 3, lost 1 (ouch)
    Chelsea lost 1
    Everton lost 1

    Think that's right

I reckon Sinisterra will be used up front as a striker. And he looks like he’d be pretty good there.

    Quality player imo.

I agree mate. In the little snippets I've seen of him so far and what we are told he is like in training he could easily be the best signing this summer. That's saying something looking at Aaronson and Adams form so far.

    I've probably jinxed that now.

If we are forced into playing Dan James he is better on the wing and let Sinisterra have a go up front please

Also admired sinisterras attitude after his collision with the post when trying to scramble I a goal. Many players would have spent ages rolling around feeling sorry for himself. He got himself back in game quickly. I liked that

Alan Nixon has started the hare running again by saying Spurs have offered to take Dan James on immediate loan with a promise to buy in June. For me I would love this as poor old Dan has hardly played in his own position since Marsch landed?
