I have an awful feeling Everton are going to want this more and will get something.

 

Played well Thursday and didn't win. Played well in the reverse fixture against today's opponents and didn't win.3 pts today please

 

Everton parked the bus at Liverpool hoping for a point. They need to win games so, they can’t do that every week. They have the worst away form in the league.

The worry is they have been competitive at home. They could.. not will… but could get to 37-38. We need 4 or 5 points… and there are no ‘easy’ ones on offer that I see. Going to the wire I think,

 

Chelsea probably need another win to cement 3rd place so they have something to play for. They'll want that sewn up with wins today and at home to Wolves next week.

Then they play us on the Wednesday before focusing on the cup final against Liverpool on the Saturday. I've a feeling they won't risk too many against us.

In other words, they still have something to play for today and they will want to rest players against us.

Yep - it's a definite for us and has been for a month now, whereas it's still a maybe for you.

If you do come down, you've done yourselves proud with the way you've played up there - taking no prisoners is a far better watch from a neutrals perspective than some of the tippy tappy stuff that tends to go on.

.....and again being selfish, I'd be happy to have you in the Championship from a personal point of view.
