Leeds are still investing in keepers as we have Huffer who is still out injured, Meslier I hope we sign next season, Miazek and a new baby signed for the U18s who was actually on the bench for the 23s last week. Cooper Skerry is the name a 16yo from Australia just signed on a 2 year scholarship
he’s never had a full season and was 21/22 when playing for us. He’s still young for a keeper. Burnley believe they’re buying potential. They have a good track record of choosing keepers to come through. whether it pans out for him? Who knows.
Players get high profile at Leeds, which makes them easy to sell, was only ever in the bottom 15 or so championship keepers, when at Leeds, don't see him going anywhere fast.
his last two games have been euro qualifiers against Germany and Holland. He was MoM in one of them. Don’t imagine he’s too worried about profile.
And in a team of championship and league one players, don't suppose any other clubs will worry about his profile either.
A little bit worrying but a statement by Klopp seems to back up my earlier post on this thread regarding our analytics. Klopp has said he was blown away with Leeds scouting system and thinks Ben White would be a great buy as replacement for Dejan Louvren. He went on to say that Bielsa and Orta make a fantastic team at spotting and coaching young talent.... makes you wonder about the stupidity of Brighton who dont have a CB of Whites capabilities, yet they own him.
BPF didn't make the monumental **** ups Casilla did in the games he was involved in, he cost us in the play offs against Derby, the facts are, BPF had a better record between the sticks than 'experienced' Casilla the clown
Just seen an interview with Kinnear when asked about recall clauses in Eddie's and Whites loan deals. Yes they have a recall option but now way will they be actioned as both are getting coached by Bielsa. Both need to learn how to play in front of a demanding 35,000 screaming fans. Arsenal wanted Eddie coached by Bielsa so that he goes back into the Arsenal first team squad, not to go out on loan again. He will get some game time when Bielsa decides he's ready. White is an amazing find and Orta had him watched for 2 years before showing Bielsa the films. Kinnear said Eddie is a very expensive thoroughbred but Arsenal preffered Leeds to anyone else because of Bielsa. my own view is that its about time we saw Eddie starting but then I'm not Bielsa and need to trust he has a plan
doesn’t matter does it, anybody watching gets to see him with a league 1 defence in front of him playing against the worlds best teams. Keeps him noticed, good or bad, as this thread shows.

And Does that make him the world's best keeper or still average championship standard. Very average against Holland and saved 5 out of 7 shots against Germany. Looks the same average keeper to me.
Speaking of quality goalkeepers, Schmeicel pulled off two world class saves tonight for Denmark. Terrific keeper but when with us many didn’t rate him either
We could talk about loads of ex players who have left over the years and are now playing well. But some faces just don't fit in at certain clubs. I appreciate this is a forum for opinions, but once a player has left(for whatever reasons) I personally don't give them a second thought. But that's just me.
