I was thinking of Golden Steps (Doncaster 3.15) at 15/2 but I've chickened out.
Thank goodness. Oisin Murphy again. He's what put me off. Don't like going against him.

3:15 Donc - Steps 11/1
3:35 Chep - Blaklion 11/2

Shout with Blaklion there Drever. He was my bet of the day at Chepstow today. A really progressive novice and the lucky owners have another quality horse on their hands. I will be following this one with great interest to see just how good he might be!

I put up on the daily thread that I think Paul Nicholls will have a very good day, but the one of his I really like (and therefore my banker) is Ulck Du Lin who effectively runs of 120 in the 2.20 at Ascot.

For me it's in the ‘lucky last’ at Newbury (5.10) in a fillies amateur riders race of all things. My rogue-dar is bleeping frantically as I ponder just what the ‘eck those old rogue’s, the Pipe’s are up to with LOW KEY. He hasn’t run for 276 days but give them there due they do know how to ready one after an absence.

Daddy Martin, in whose colours Low Key runs, has purchased the gelding since that heat in January when he was an eye-catching winner off 59 and I don’t think a rise of 6 lbs will stop Low Key gaining another success. Its worth noting that when he first arrived in the UK after racing in Germany and France he was perched on 88. Furthermore, you can guarantee that the Pipe’s will have improved him since that winning run. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more...

Old girl Alice Mills, what a lovely name for an amateur rider by the way, takes the ride and she must be someway competent as I see she’s had winners on the board already in 2014.

I’m not one to blow my own trumpet but a victory by 8 lengths in total cruise mode ain’t a bad result. Those Pipe’s might be total and utter rogues but they do know what they are doing.

Anyway, Low Key raised 17 lbs and next runs, all being well, in Saturday’s 'November Handicap'. 12/1 currently available. If you missed him, across the county line, last month don’t make the same mistake this weekend.

Have had another look at Saturday’s ‘November Handicap’ and it looks an absolute corking contest certainly well above what you would expect. And those bookie chappies seem perplexed as they are currently shouting ‘10/1 the field’. Anyone got any early thoughts???

I do really like the above mentioned LOW KEY but see that those old rogues have also put in 6 time winning hurdler HOME RUN who hasn’t run on the Flat (as they train him I won’t say the ‘level’ as I’m sure he hasn’t run on the ‘level’ for some time) since August 2011! Cor blimey what are they up to!

Big surprise is that old boy Gosden, who has won the race 5 times, hasn’t made a single entry!

2.40 Wincanton The Young Master - Neil Mulholland continues in fine form and The Young Master could be one of the yard's flag bearers this season. A young progressive horse who took the step up in class in his stride last time out when staying on really well to land the amateur riders handicap chase at Cheltenham's meeting a couple of weeks ago. I really like the booking of Barry Geraghty for him in the Badger Ales Trophy and am convinced he is going to run a massive race in this. Got a €20 free bet from my bookmaker so have stuck it on The Young Master to win at 7/1 BOG.
