    Hello,

Week 35 and 3rd week of the April league. 4 of you, have qualified for the next round in the cup competition, tom,jacksk1,saint magic and fran and have additional predictions to make, details below

Points picked up in august, september, october and november december, January, february and March are banked towards the season total.

    Last weeks results here: https://www.not606.com/threads/weekend-14-april.360764/page-2

NEW BONUS POINTS SCORING - I will award 3 bonus points for anyone predicting the correct result in all 6 fixtures (ie home win, away win or draw). 2 bonus points for anyone predicting at least 2 exact scores. 1 bonus point for predicting a correct home goalscorer AND correct away goalscorer

As always, everyone welcome whether you play for the odd week or are in it for the ultimate accolaid of season champion.

Keeping predictions really simple this year and reduced the competition to 3 games. The usual cup competition will run along side this game from November. Hope you have fun

This is the 8th year of the Saints (not)606 prediction league - can you join previous season winners Saints Alive, Beddytare,Tottonsaint, Tom, Kjhgfd34 (twice) and last seasons winner saintjoey as season champions.

Saintjoey, last seasons winner kindly donated all of his winnings to the We love Manchester bombing appeal fund.

Its just a bit of fun each week and you dont have to play each week. There will be a weekly winner and at the end of the month a league winner for the person scoring the most points in that month. For those really competitive ones and ones that can last the pace there will also be an end of season winner for the one who has accumulated the most points over the season. There is a 10.00 Saints gift token prize for the season winner, with a further 10.00 going to a charity of the winners choice.

    April Cup Competition
(seeds in brackets from March cup winner and league positions)

    (1) Tom v (3) jacksk1

    (8) saint magic v (4) fran

CUP RULES - For those who have played before there are no changes.

You are head to head with you opponent above. therefore you could get knocked out with 8 points if your opponent scores 9. Someone else may get through on 4 points if they beat their opposition. There are 4 TEAMS and a goalscorer to pick and the skill is identifying who will score the most goals in games selected.

There must be a winner in these matches as after the 1st week we will be down to 8 players, after the 2nd week down to 4, then 2 at the end of the 3rd week. The final 2 will go head to head in the 4th week. Therefore if you get the same points as your opponent there will be a penalty shoot out based firstly on who scored most points from their goalscorer, if after that it is still a draw then its which team scored most in your first listed team, if still level then most points from 2nd listed team and if still equal after that the winner will be the person who posted their predictions 1st.

If you do not post any cup predictions your opponent will get a bye to the next week. If neither of you make predictions you will both be out and the best scoring loser from another game will go through. CUP GAMES CANNOT BE EDITED - ANY CHANGES PLEASE CREATE A NEW POST. Any postponements are just unlucky - if you know a game is postponed before kickoff and wish to make a change that is fine. If not a point (1 goal) will be given for the postponed team

    CUP GAME AND POINTS

You should all choose FOUR (4) TEAMS from the 64 listed AND any 1 goalscorer from any of those 64 teams. However many goals are scored by those 4 teams will be added to your points total. Every goal your goalscorer gets will add a point to your total - if its the first goal of the game 3 points will be given for that goal. (eg a 1st goal hatrick will score 5 pts)
You MUST ALSO pick a Team for your opponent - the goals from that team will be added to your opponents total- If you fail to pick a team for your opponent they will receive the amount of goals scored by the best scoring team from those listed.

List of teams - Southampton v Chelsea, Man Utd v Tottenham, Watford v Crystal Palace, Arsenal v West Ham, Stoke v Burnley, Rangers v Hearts, Hibernian v Celtic, Partick v Hamilton, Dundee v St Johnstone, Birmingham v Sheff Utd, Bolton v Wolves, Brentford v QPR, Bristol City v Hull, Derby v Middlesbrough, Ipswich v Aston Villa, Leeds v Barnsley, Preston v Norwich, Sheff Wed v Reading, Sunderland v Burton, Cardiff v Nottm Forest, Wimbledon v Oldham, Doncaster v Oxford, Fleetwood v Wigan, Gillingham v Blackpool, Northampton v Plymouth, Portsmouth v Charlton, Southend v MK Dons, Lincoln v Colchester, Eastleigh v Macclesfield, Borussia Dortmund v Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburg v Freilburg, Leipzig v 1899 Hoffenheim

Carefully select your Team 1 as the goals scored will be doubled towards your total

    to copy and paste

Team 1, (goals scored will be doubled) =
    Team 2, =
    Team 3, =
    Team 4, =
    Team for opponent, =

I’ll wait until after the games and then I’ll do a “Harry Kane” and claim the points.
