Wicklow playing against a strong breeze. It should be worth 3-4 points but crucially Wicklow have got a goal.

Wicklow miss a penalty, the keeper plays it out to Kevin Reilly who punts it from his own 45... It bounces in over the keepers head and there is a 6 Point swing in 10 seconds.

Wicklow got beat 1-17 to 1-12. They started ok in the 2nd half scoring 4 on the spin. Meath stood up to it well and won well in the end.

It tells me that the Munster football championship continues to be worthless other than for which route COrk and Kerry take to the quarters in AUgust. Unfortunately the other 3 provinces look like a procession this year.
