Is this a fancy or inside info Mr Plummers:emoticon-0129-call:

What would you prefer??? Serious question people and opens up an interesting avenue of debate. Would you rather (i) this tip be the result of serious form study or something that the correspondent saw in the horse last time or (ii) as a result of a ‘pssssssssssssssssssssssst’ or’ whisper’ from an insider / informer / mole (delete as appropriate).

What do we value more, people??? A tip based on form study or something someone has ‘heard’???

The animal that Sleep Easy beat comfortably at Stratford, by 13 lengths on his sole start over hurdles (Red Tornado), proceeded to win his next 5 heats including at Listed level!

Interesting. The one that split the two has not won a thing since.
I see N Fehily is on Sleep Easy this time which is a big plus.

Some interesting opposition:

Movewiththetimes, trained by Nicholls, won his bumper and this time Geraghty takes the ride

Archangel Raphael (a Montjeu gelding out of an Oasis Dream mare) ran in a G1 in France last year beaten 11l by Erupt and 8l by Sillverwave

What SBC failed to mention was the horse that was 2nd to Sleep Easy that day has raced 12 times winning 0 times also.

It’s called ‘extolling the virtues’! No negatives and all that. Only good vibes. Or alternatively putting more spin on proceedings than a ‘New’ Labour spindoctor!

I see the mare at the foot of the racecard, Shanghai Sunrise (what a lovely name for a mare by the way), has had 4 runs on the Flat and beat just 2 horses in all that time.

Am greatly looking forward to see the opening show, re this race, when those bookie chappies started shouting the odds.

I was thinking that myself. You'd have to say the Skelton horse, for whatever reason, ran well below form when he finished third behind Sleep Easy.

Interesting little race that at Fontwell. I do like the OPs confidence mind you, and I do like Mulholland's horses at particular times of year.

I'm just throwing the spanner in the works SBC, all for fun of course. I do hope the horse wins for the OP of course and that his confidence is justified <ok>

Also I hadn't noticed that these 2 were receiving 7lb from Sleep Easy. Movewiththetimes won comfortably by all accounts so could be useful?
