As this is the next game I will be attending, plans are being made for this vital match towards Charlton's quest for survival. Trains from St Pancras are direct to Sheffield, or from Kings Cross which will mean a change at Doncaster. Tickets for both routes should be on sale around 10 weeks before the game. Another massively loyal fan, @Clb74 shall be also attending with one of our chums, we will be discussing hotel accommodation whilst in the Bromley South Wetherspoons tonight.
If Feb 2020 is the next time that you are attending a Charlton game, could you also make it the next time that you post on here as well ?
I'm in Brasil for a month over Christmas, the internet connection is not always great. Fingers crossed for the members.
Train tickets have been released for this eagerly awaited match against the best team in Yorkshire. The cheapest tickets start at £15.50 which will mean a change at Doncaster, direct trains start at £18.00. There are a lot of of tickets at £18 and £21 but unless you get in quick this is likely to be around £50 return. All prices shown are before a railcard discount, and are single fares. As you have to stay overnight there is an EasyHotel which is costing under £40 for a room. A number of my buddies are in here, they are very pleased to know that there is a Wetherspoons 60 seconds walk from the hotel.
Bearing in mind that the father of @Miketyson2007Junior seems to be a little excitable, he might be interested to know that when we were in this Wetherspoons for breakfast the following day after the Doncaster league game last season, there was a fight......................at 9.30 in the morning!
A decent post for once. As for the father of @Miketyson2007Junior, he had to have his phone taken from him on the train home. The 28th can of San Miguel turned him into a raging lunatic, and he was taking on all comers on social media
Well if you stick to your own thread and post all of your rubbish on it, we have a chance of attracting new members. You had a shocking and very frustrating day yesterday, 100s of posts about nothing. You are a 5’1 version of Ackers.
5'4, get it right. Anyway, back on topic. Wednesday have about 10 different price bands for their games, away supporters can pay a mind boggling £40, we certainly won't and I imagine that ours will cost about £20. I shall monitor this whilst out in Brasil and post prices as soon as I know.
