Couldn't really ante-post anything in that race until I'm certain whats entered. Pre Festival punting is a complete minefield with all the options now available...we'll soon have 2m2f and 2m6f 'chases to pad the fixture to the five days that Cheltenham and the BHA want.
I have learn't from the flat that it is better to rely on those horses rated towards the top of the quality scale than those near the bottom. I looked at the first one of AP/Pipe and thought that whilst he looked good on paper, it was only because it was an awful race. I am not good enough to do as Stick/ROTO/Toppy does and pick out ones in the poorer races, and do it with discipline. I am aiming to stick to the better races, and do it with discipline.
What a great race! Only third for mine but at least he had chances. Hope Fennis Boy is going to be ok though
A real shame For me and my ante-post too - but that's the risk you take when you bet. Hope he comes back ok next season.
Anyone think Gracchus 50/1 could spring a surprise at Kempton here? Won off 71 in Ireland on the flat and then went on to become a 130-rated chaser. Running off 63 here on the back of a break, Carroll can ready one so have put some pennies e/w.
Another tenner e/w down the ante post toilet Hope he makes a full recovery and comes back next season. Very bad luck for connections who have nursed him back to health over the last 2 years.
Night Nap? FLEETWOOD SANDS 7/1 Shaping well over further the last twice, a strongly run 7f will be right up his street (4 of his 6 wins are over 7f) and off a mark of 53 is dangerously well handicapped. Looks primed to strike soon.
Nass you've made some really good calls recently. You must be pleased with your results. Keep it going.
Thanks, I am doing alright at the minute. Not even tempted to look at Kempton Parkway tonight. All about a race at Wincanton tomorrow, one I am really looking forward to.
