3.35 Del Harriald 5-2

Bathos will have his supporters in this race as he attempts a four timer, but I was very impressed with this horse in his last outing. I felt there were some decent sorts behind but he was well on top at the end and it was a performance that suggested much more was to come and 5-2 looks a fair price.

Thomas Crapper and Violet Dancer in a novice chase at Towcester. Blimey.

I like King Massini and Sybarite in the 3.15 at Ludlow. Both should have good seasons and this looks a lovely race to start in. The former has been backed by the look of it.

Only one stands out, I bet you can guess it's Bathos. ( 3.35 @Nottingham )
Five out of five, can it be done? Very impressive last time out, but then, as Bluesky points out, so was Dal Harraild.
Throw Rioca in to the mix and this becomes very competitive.
I've had great returns off Johston horses over the past few months, so I'll have to go with it.

Navan 3.45 Emergent 4s win. Making debut for Weld stable and has a nice pedigree to suggest she can take a race such as this.

I'm on the O'Brien double, both ran solid enough debuts and should come on for the run

Ludlow 315 M Hamill takes a valuable 7lb s off HIGHWAY CODE who is currently 22s although there are reasons to not back this , there are reasons not to back the field. Hamill should go close here at a big price ew.
350 a shade of bay at 8s ew

Towcester 255 conas taoi

Good luck all who play

cheers ste --not much of a price this time , but a winner all the same. I reckon this has been Dean Ivory's best season so far, his old dad Ken wpould be proud of how he has developed the yard , and only a nose prevented him from havin his first group 1 winner--Tropics a godolphin cast off dobbed on the line , aside that , he has some really nice two year olds this year , and as a trainer of sprinters he is as good as any
