Good Luck <ok>

Morning, troops. Big question of the day, gee-gee wise for me, has to be will COSMOPOLITAN QUEEN (5.55 Kempton Park) shed her maiden tag at the 6th, I say 6th, attempt. This daughter of Dubawi is wonderfully bred as her dam was a dual winner of the Lancashire Oaks and her sister won the International. Cosmopolitan Queen seems to be improving with racing and do you know what, pilgrims, I think she will win this eve.

Good luck, all.

I wouldn't under any circumstances consider any of the following tips or even pointers but I'm backing two horses on long losing streaks to come good today at Musselburgh and I'm just posting them so I can claim some glory in the off-chance they come good.

Bogart 15:30 Priced as favourite, course and distance suit but hasn't won in over 4 years so should be well handicapped

(and the more seemingly ridiculous shout)

Flinty Fell 14:30 Currently priced at 16s with only 11 runners - I saw this horse in the flesh at this course and the recurring tactic used with her is to lead from the front - it's a slight increase in the usual 7f/1m trips she's used to but I'm going EW on her as she's a beautiful filly and I think she's due her day in the sun at some point

I was thinking of putting up Bogart. Should win this but when a horse goes 4 years without winning, one does start to wonder why. 3lb clear top rated by Timeform and trainer in form. Orient Class is back down in class, has a 100% record at the track and enjoys the benefit of regular claimer back in the saddle. Royal Brave, also a multiple course winner has ben consistent at higher grade. Just a shade nervous about Bogart, even though this is his best chance for some time.

Not much too exciting this afternoon but one I will have an ew go with would be the Johnston horse in the 3.20 Catterick, JACQUARD. Still can't get it right with him at the moment with more losers than winners with Lake Volta costing me a nice acca yesterday and then seeing he had an odds on jolly beat aswell. Not seen out for nearly a year now, he has won at Catterick over 6f and I have a sneaky suspicion he win improve for the step up in trip and also that the yard will have him ready for today @ 20/1.

Also have noted that TEPPAL is all the rage in the 2.40 Ling who would appear to have everything in his favour including the draw, however a certain Mr Spencer is on board so I'm not touching this with a bargepole. My idea of the winner would be topweight AWESOMETANK although it's a no bet race.

Spencer probably wishes all his rides were that easy, should of done a Rev fc.

I could be way off the mark here and the price would suggest that to be the case but in the next race at Bellewstown, Pivot Bridge looks a tad too big of a price to ignore and with 4 places being offered by Paddy's it looks well worth an ew bet at 40/1

At the back all the way and ran like a 40/1 shot oh well
