Hope that wasnt a dig stick, im very vunerable atd momentEach to their own I guess, english flat racing wouldnt be my thing.would of defo softened the blow if the old boy had placed.im not into the laying game even if I got decent odds and the money came in
Certainly not a dig Ste, you do your bit round here for sure. A dig at myself really in truth as I am the kiss of death on other peoples bets for sure!
Gas to think we are effectively betting on animals to win us some money, they dont speak english and dont follow instructions.Thats why I dont bet to big, anything can happen. Now llama racing thats a differant story
No need to apologise Ste, I think the horse didn't respond well to being buried in a big field when he's been predominantly at his best bossing the pace in smaller fields. Couldn't believe how short it went however, 7/2 was absolutely bonkers. Kind of frustrating he came 6th though the 10/1 was top 4, I went in today and would a been ok 5th, but that's the game. Sad to report Foildubh and Make a Track lost their lives too. What wonderful animals they are
Sad indeed Beefy. Anyone know if HDB was asked by the Stewards to explain the improvement in the performance? The horse was well supported despite being beaten out of sight a fortnight ago off only a pound lower on identical ground. Crystal ball job...for those outside that is...
...Didn't see the race Beefy...technical issues. TV full of splinters from the stump cam at Edgbaston!
