croque monsieur is the big improver here,and very much respected,but WHITEHALL was desperately unlucky last time out,losing out by the narrowest of margins,and the winner has already franked the form afterwards.so,with ryan moore again on board,must have a top shout here..

Just watched the replay. Thought squire run a decent race, looked like he wasn’t given a hard race. My personal opinion, I would try and get him into a handicap on the rowley mile in the autumn. He always seem to run well there.looked at his record, he’s been a good horse for you seems like an honest horse.
I think he could have won or been very close had Havlin got going on him early in the straight. They didnt want to give him too hard a race on ground that wasnt ideal.
