If he’s got any sense he’ll be on the phone to Mr Henderson without delay. Imagine the success that the latters ‘magic hands’ could bring to Gigginstown.

I see that Bill Mullins has drifted from 6/4 to 4/1 to win the ‘UK Trainers Title’ in a matter of a few hours. Mr Nicholls now 1/3 and Mr Henderson 8/1.

Willie Mullins - today just solidifies the legend! What a man. Gigginstown trying to force him into a corner over training fees and he's said **** off. What a hero.

But a trainer surely knows the horse best and isn't it one of the arts of the trainer to place their charges in the right race where they can be most competitive?

I remember all the judges (myself included) cited the maestro as mad for running BLACK HERUCLES in the JLT! Other late switcheroos pulled off by the great man at last year's Festival worked out ok too. Annie Power supposedly no chance in Champion many said, Shaneshill another one who shocked everyone came within a head of scooping the RSA and of course the legendary YORKHILL should have been scared off by the so called banker YANWORTH in the Neptune!

I think he has a fair idea where to run them, as indeed would the master of Seven Barrows the esteemed Nicholas Henderson. If you employ Pep Guardiola you don't go and tell him where to play Messi etc !
