Northern Spy 9/1 in the 5.55 Salisbury looks very interesting. Won this race last year off a 4lb higher mark under this rider and followed that up by proving it was no fluke by finishing a 1L beaten 2nd off a 7lb higher mark. He's not been at his best since then but he's been raced over longer trips than this in his subsequent starts and he looks laid out for this on what is his first start back over 7f since the corresponding race last year. Can seem him going very, very close.
Odddy legends. Right another bet for me tonight to go with BORUG 8.00 NAAS SHEBELLA - Stand out 6/1 with Boylesports. I really like this filly. Could only manage 5th of 6 behind Princess Highway at Naas last time out but was put in a poor position and also ran very green. That race is decent form anyways and as she still has plenty of improvement left in her I would expect a reversal with Aaraas. I only see Caponata as a danger as Weld has formlines with most of these fillies - through Princess Highway and Sapphire.
: Shebella in that race for me Boris, only beaten 3 lengths by Princess Highway, which wouldve have got her 2nd in the ribblesdale (although i know you cant take form that literally lol!) seriosuly though, i think she open to more improvement than most and at 9/2 il take my chance! goodluck mate
