They where also playing against 10 men for half of the 2nd half. Things went Leverkusens way tonight, on another night things could have been different
They were dominant in the first half, hit the bar, ball cleared off the line, all the possession, Atleticos first shot on goal in the 47th min I think, they deserved the lead in the first half. The injuries were to Atleticos worst players, they were a stronger team with Garcia on after the injuries. On another night Leverkusen could have won 2 or 3 nil and it wouldnt have been an unfair scoreline. And they went down to 10 with 15 mins left, thats not half a half
