Has Cecil been interviewed? Surely beaten the same horses again it Ascot is not a fitting end to his career. Get him to Longchamp and then finish off at Ascot <ok>

Just peeled ourselves off the ceiling. What an awesome performance. Standing ovation in our house with pleas for the Arc as he passed the post.

How sad to see Henry Cecil deteriorate so much. He looks as though he won't be around for much longer. Come on Henry; get better.

    2nd Farah - 7 lengths
    3rd SNA - Nose
    4th Twice Over - 6... (13...)
    5th Bullet Train - nk...

Good horses just put to the sword...

....and Planteur too, even further behind! Who gives a damn about times today! Have only ever seen Frankel on the box of course, but he has to be the best I've ever seen. Have seen some great ones in my time though, in the flesh that is, but Frankel tops them all.

Very sad to see how ill Sir Henry looks, I was really shocked. Get well, Sir Henry, and soon...............

regarding Frankel and the Arc apparently ''connections won't say no, if Sir Henry wants to say yes'', according to Jim mcgrath on twitter.

They must have slowed a lot. Immediately after the finish, the commentator said 3secs faster than standard; then later stated it as almost a second faster than standard. That is a little disappointing as I thought they had gone a good clip and he had cruised up to join them, making up a deficit of about 12l; but maybe they slowed so much that it looked more impressive than it was. Still had all the others at it whilst he simply went by in cruise control.

I wonder what would have happened if Sea The Stars had been in the race. The mind boggles.

I also wonder if France Galop will offer a huge sum for HIM to go over for the Arc.

We haven't seen bog conditions for the Arc for ages now, nearly always half decent going the past few years. The **** will hit the fan one of these years, and soon. A ploughed field would be no good for Frankel. He would be lucky for the Arc to have decent ground yet again?

STS was flat out to win it though against Mastercraftsman where as Frankel was in cruise modetoday.
Was it windy at York today? might of been a headwind.

Not so sure about that Swifty.

Roger Charlton said he was overruled by Khalid Abdullah after wanting to run Bated Breath in the July Cup and Frankel is a more vlauable tool than BB.

The unbeaten record won't be risked by travelling even if some of us think he would breeze in.

Racecourse gallop followed by another racecourse gallop with lots of dosh!
