Bit late but fancy Convection to run well in the tricky last race Nursery over 7f at Newmarket (17:00)

Very disappointing, no show at all. Serves me right as I went against my own rule of never backing a horse first time in a handicap. What a dummy! <doh> :bandit:

Shocking day for backing winners but really should have had the 2 favourites.
    Ones to Note:

Noble Order (Dubawi) is an impressive looking tall colt (but unfurnished) who ran a promising race in the 7f colts maiden. If he grows into that frame he could be a colt to follow next year. In the same race My Prospero was also good looking and very encouraging.
Soul Stopper (Postponed) is one to follow over 9f+. The Gadget Man (Jack Hobbs) was probably a bit unlucky and will win races, but this fine looking gelding could have a future as a 4yo over hurdles. The one that beat him Juan Bermudez (Nathanial) was an unconsidered 40-1 shot but didn't run like that. Traces back to Oaks winner Lupe and could be a useful middle distance colt next year.

The front two from that race looks very useful sorts. Notebook horses for sure.

I'd rather My Prospero hadn't beaten Reach for the Moon, but he's obviously an improving 3yo who could go places over a mile.
