Good Luck <ok>

Time for my annual rant about the lack of entries in the Epsom Derby trial. Mark my words come June 4th if you've done your dough on the Derby and the trainer states "he didn't handle the track". You'd be perfectly entitled to shout at the screen "Well why didn't you run him in the ****ing Derby Trial over this unique course back in April you stupid twat"

Anyway, at least AOB sends over a decent looking colt with a Derby entry in Claudio Monteverdi (is he finally learning this race is actually a good trial?) and interestingly Gosden runs the filly So Mi Dar <ok>

Posted missing last few days as still recovering from Hampden Sunday where Rangers laid a few ghosts from the last 4 years to rest. To be there and witness a performance of that magnitude from the young guns in that cauldron was unbelievable..magnificent effort from all to lift the club back to challenge for major honours once again....anyway moving on....im hoping BAD GIRL CAOIMHE can land the odds in the 4.00 Catterick tomorrow...

Firestorm 3.40 Epsom getting smashed, took 16s and into 12s now. One of Michael Attwaters. First time gelded and has slipped to a nice mark.

All The Chimneys 5.25 Fairyhouse won his last two starts. He still looks to have a handy mark. He races just off the pace which I like around Fairyhouse. He has beat Inishturk Lad and Mick The Boyo on his last two starts. Hopefully he can complete the hat-trick.

WHAT ABOUT CARLO - 11/2 for me in that race seems to be a on a fair mark and is a very decent in this type of handicap company- seems to love it round here and ground will be no issue and will be involved at finish

As much as I hate to say it Ardent, Rangers were the better team and desevered the win. Come next year when Delia is gone, will be a different story.

A beautiful spring day on the Wirral, the shun shining in; it's on a day like this that I'm glad my job allows me to work from home from time to time.
And of course, I'm in a new house, so happy to be here :emoticon-0103-cool:

Not Long Now ...

On to today, and I could do with some winners; not much to shout about since Cheltenham, to be honest.
I'm interested in three, early doors.

Lady Wootton, 1.50 at Catterick, conditions and trip to suit maybe?
Wicked Willy, 2.10 at Perth, with Petapenko a threat
And I suppose I should take a look at the tenuous Chester link of Roudee, 2.00 at Epsom!

Some return from those 3 would set me up for more later; I'm supposed to be prepping for database and system upgrades, though I'm sure I'll have the racing on "in the background" during this afternoon.

Have a good day and Good Luck with your choices.

Did Ryan Moore's 1st 3 rides. If I get any return that would end a barren spell!

Sorry, PC buggering me around today, maybe it's saying 'don't post', probably right, nevermind...:emoticon-0100-smile

16:25 Perth - Frontier Vic

(Probable favourite, but current 3/1 a fair bet and maybe better at SP? Always like to take notice of Old Vic progeny when the ground is the soft side of good).

Don't often post on here as you guys know a lot more than me.

I've been given a tip of Best Trip 4.35 Catterick and thought I'd share it as a couple of you have given me winners in the past

Now I've shared this it will probably have to be carried round by the jockey
