Perfect Harmonys Newbury bumper form looks pretty useful with runner up My Mate Mark doing us a favour at the weekend so I rather suspect that ABSOLUTE POWER 7/4 should be capable of keeping the run going tomorrow. An each way saver is a recommended as I like the pedigree of ANGEL OF HARLEM 10/1 who's dam was a fairly decent bumper winner for Nicky Henderson.

Does Pipe train many bumper horses for JP?

He doesn't train many horses for JP full stop. Can you name one? Apart from Duc de Beauchene that is. I can't remember seeing one of his trained by Pipe but I am getting a bit senile these days.

Unique De Cotte was only one I could think of.

Last 5 years he is joint 18th winning most trainer for JP in the U.K. Behind the likes of Hasland, Gifford and L Russell!!! Shows how far the Pipe name has dropped

Can't see it in the paper but was told to look out for one called Hovis today.

Beautifully bread.

Angel of Harlem (can you actually say that name without breaking into song, incidentally?!?), what a lovely name for a filly by the way, was also bred by Mr Henderson. Made the old boy a decent sum, to boot, as he sold her for £43,000 last summer to present connections.

You are though doing the dam, Whoops A Daisy (another lovely name for a filly by the way) something of a disservice. As she was in total a 5 time winner including at Listed level over hurdles. Will be fascinating to see how her first foal does this afternoon.

I say old boy ‘I’ve been told’ (those classic 3 forum words there) that the 11th richest man in Wales is absolutely fuming that your, otherwise excellent, Ffos Las Bumper summary failed to include his own runner in the heat – Luckofthedraw. Nicely bred one as well as Luckofthedraw is a half-brother to the useful Dolatulo (7 time winner who had a peak rating of 148). Intriguingly, Dolatulo also won at Ffos Las, by 20 lengths, just 10 days ago.

Absolute Power now a non-runner unfortunately.

Luckofthedraw very nearly made the post but picking three in the race eould have been unacceptable to my subscribers. Very nicely bred animal, if memory serves a half brother to DOLATULO who interestingly did not start out in bumpers but has won a jumpers bumper!

Of those Artic Fire 50/50 - personally doubt he'll run.
Tombstone, Ballyandy, Charbel, A hare breadth other races. What else wont run?

I’d imagine he’d get in as of those above him Gordon Elliott has 7 and Willie Mullins (who I’d never heard of until I saw the entries) has 6 and they each won’t run anywhere near this amount. Also McManus has 9 (yes 9) above Vosne and will, in all likelihood, run just a few of these 9.

Hargam (who is one of the latters) absolutely screams out of just 10-8 but as I said last week he’s got multiple entries, at the Festival, so where he actually turns up is anyone guess.

Also unlikely Munir would run both Peace and Co and L'Ami Serge.

5 of Willies have different ownership and nowhere else to go so feasible most could run. Could see JP with 4/5 in the race, same with Elliot.

Tight be in hindsight he should get in.
