Good Luck <ok>

Blue-blood of the Day goes to PARLANCE in the 2.00 at Nottingham.

She was a rare purchase at the yearling sales by Cheveley Park Stud who went to 450,000gns for the daughter of Invincible Spirit who is out of an unraced half-sister to Kingman, himself by Invincible Spirit.

Parlance, barley sugar, autocratic
Blake Dean, Tully gush, Mr steadfast
Singles doubles and a treble on each group of 3.

I should have realised that there wasn't much hope in PARLANCE first time out when I walked past Sir Michael Stoute on Newmarket High Street at 1.30pm!

An early Stoute 2yo is rare and often there for the run. June 1st is very early for Sir Michael. I've often observed that his earlier ones rather than being the most wound up are there because they need to show something.

A couple of nice races for a Wednesday afternoon in June Oddy <ok> First Lieutenant @ 4/1 is fair enough and I've had a bet on him here, it's a much more realistic opportunity for him here than lto but he's ever so frustrating to win with, this appears as good a chance as he may get!

Jarob is interesting reverting back to hurdles later on too in the 8.50 @ 20/1 there, Davy up top should prove helpful and if he can remain handy and go for home with first run, he may well outrun his price tonight and an each way chance is taken he can retain form.

Noel Meades horse in the bumper is meant to be a nice sort so ive had an ew wager at 11/2

Looks like Ruby's gone out on the piss instead - his 2 mounts both declared non-runners at short notice.

Two lazy selections and I got two lovely losers! I should no better. Got what I put into those.

Forums quiet of late, perhaps the Oaks/Derby will perk up the thing a bit <ok>
