Weird thing to say about a keeper but he's too slow, watch how many goals he concedes by not getting in the correct position as he's too slow across the ground
He'd make the squad. An example of a player who got major plaudits far too soon without doing much. He still seems to be a pundits favourite. He makes routine saves which the pundits always go overboard with. He was awful in the World Cup and the Pirlo pen in the Euros was embarrassing.
Agree chaninbar, I think pundits and the media give English players an easy ride. If It was a foreign goalkeeper making those errors they'd be on his case. Look how much they attacked David De Gea when he first joined us. He's proving them all wrong now though
