Chaps can some of the more seasoned flat pro's let me know what they think of Tartiflette in the 4.45 at york. I noticed both Sporting Life & Hugh Taylor picked up on it and highlighted the fact that it's some way ahead of her mark. It's a big race with 18 going to post so i'd nearly have to punt on a win only bet at 5/1 but could be wort it.I normally stay clear of the calverly charge races but this one looks interesting?

I'm takling a scientific approach today. Using the very pleasing female statistics of 36-24-36 and reading across to the racecard number (or if n/r to the draw number) in the first 6 races at York we have:

1.30 3 Space War (drawn 3, racecard #3 is a NR) 16/1
2.00 6 Victoire de Lyphar 25/1
2.30 2 Esentepe 14/1
3.00 4 Hoof It 2/1
3.35 3 Granston 20/1
4.10 6 Citius 7/1

Nah mate, still rough as hell. Think I must have some kinda bug. Feels like I have swallowed razor blades and at times feeling light headed and nauseous and a bit feverish. Any Doctors on the forum? I bet if I googled that lot it would say I had the Beubonic Plague!

Im a Liverpool fan but Downing shouldnt be any where near this squad...!!!

Lets see how Roy will get the best formation out of the Gerrard/Lampard conundrum...<doh> At least there is a bit of pace in the side...

We shall see...

Well done, RV. Getting the ‘daily thread’ back to its correct topic. No ‘top table’ shenanigans for me instead it was a Chicken Caesar wrap, some hula hoops and a banana.

Meanwhile, I’m no football expert but there are a few surprises in that squad. Poor old Theo Walcott. Again, he plays in loads of the warm up games and then gets dropped for the tournament! Still pleased to see a few familiar names axed as why rely on those who have failed before.

Carrick isn't even on the standby squad list- Jordan Henderson is <laugh> <laugh> lumping on France to win the group now

SBC I must say that is a most disappointing sounding lunch for your high standards.

Baines will be a terrific left back for England one day mark my words.

Stewart Downing on the other hand, will be a terrific Mascot for England one day, mark my words. 0 goals 0 assists this season. FFS Roy, I wanted you to be ruthless. I hope to christ he shocks us with some excellent performances now.

At least there is a bit of big-tournament freshness and inexperience, hopefully they will at least have a go unlike the bunch of tools we took to the world cup.

Disgrace that he is not even in the squad Nass- much better play than Glen Johnson

GL - Stick <ok>

off twitter -

Stewart Downing: Had the most shots (72) without scoring & made the most key passes (55) without getting an assist in the PL this season
