very pleased for MASS RALLY - a horse I have followed for a while now. I remember he won a big race back in the autumn I think
In keeping with the Cowboys and Indians theme Indian Icon goes in the 7.20 at Naas. Are we allowed to include Paddy Curry in the 8.30 at Perth?
They're getting very excited about Mass Rally and the jock here but isn't Nocturn even better? Out wide. No company. Mass Rally, in comparison, ran with loads of cover and got a lovely tow into the race. There's only one I'd be taking out of that.
ROTO mentioned it but prefered Farlow. I prefered York Glory who I thought had come to win 200 yards from the line! Not EVERYONE wants the mud you lot! Mincers will say that's enough now, thanks very much!
He does look as though he has more to offer on the flat,no doubt about that. Perhaps he's going to be campaigned as a dual purpose horse like Sea Pigeon and more recently Overturn although one suspects he's a bit classier than those two.
Is Liber becoming value at 5/6? I've no bloody idea. No bets in this for me but keen to watch it and form an Oaks opinion.
Right,Sky+ on...I'm off to mow the rear lawn..and no,that isn't a euphemism. GL with the next couple of races...don't tell me who won...
I just wanted to get an outsider up in a later race. York 3.50 Pintrada 33-1 EW This horse is basically too big a price in my opinion and in a really open race could easily get a place at least. The horse has won on both Gd/Firm and Gd/soft so should be ok with the going, was lightly raced last year but finished with a nice win at Beverly after which the runner up won his next race. It may need the run, it may be just a touch high in class but at 33-1 it's worth a small each-way.
