Had to have an e/w on old fav Monksland at 66/1 here. 3lb claim off the jockey too. He might well get pulled up from being outpaced but if he can hang on to any coat tails he might come up the hill.
Get in Monksland, lovely run for the money at 66s! The old legend. If that boy was actually able to train he'd have made a lovely horse. He has to swim to stay sound!
Awful ride on Scoir Mear. Finished well after rider held him too long then tried to find as much traffic as possible
Nice one Toppy. Another winner from last year's Supreme, Id say it certainly compares well with Al Ferof's eh? (Mind you Tombstone bombed out)
It was a pretty good Supreme last year mate- the front 3 are the real Grade 1 horses though Very similar to the front 4 of 2011 that I never like to mention
Thought that one who will be ridden to place in the Champion Chase might be Sir Valentino. He was 50s on Skybet but they've now halved it to 25s, which is not great value!
This might be the time to chuck a sneaky fiver on Mullins have ZERO winners. If Douvan doesn't win here the price will collapse ..........
Sneaky e/w too on Sausalito Sunrise in the Cross Country at 14/1. Don't know how he'll take to this sort of race though?
Ha ha Starter " we've got a problem, flag flag, just ****ing push it". Best thing I've heard from itv coverage so far!
Mullins horses have looked over trained and not right everytime so far, Douvan didn't look right from the first 3
