shes only had 3 run in two years since she was a 2yo, not disgraced in a Group 1 and Group 2, shes hardly worth badmouthing because shes been fancied in the betting only mugs would have bet her last time at the price after Oxx's comments. Amaazing Maria is an example of a filly who looked a good 2yo, was tailed off at 3, well beat first 2 runs at 4 and then finally delivered on the early promise. Whether thats Omearas drugs or not I dont know. ive gave worse animals plenty more chances, if she is healthy she has to run a race tonight
The way Mazaaher r ran in the 1700 one for the note books next time out , Out paced 2 out and still finished with ridiculous ease to finish 2nd . Jockey very easy on him .
Interesting you say that. You do plenty of badmouthing about what you feel are are 'ridiculous priced' horses etc during the winter game! A change in tact now I see Kaiser
I do that on that flat as well, Almohtaseb 6/4 was a great laugh on Saturday. That nothing personal against the horse or its past results, the market was badly wrong thats it. 6/4 out to 11/4, tailed off at 9/4.
I quite like that Moon Racer, no doubt Mullins will have another couple of 500k french machines emerge from the 20m worth of novice talent though. What you make of your Free Eagle supposedly skipping the Juddmonte? Lets not forget they a lot of them avoid each other on the jumps as well until the festival.
Scary to think how many winners mullins will have next march.still only getting over fanny powers fall
Dancing on Air should of won there at the line, young Ana o'Brien all over the shop, I'll begrudgingly take the ew.u
Best of luck with this Fusion hope it comes in for you. The two I like in the field are Ebadani and Macnicholson at 6s and 8s respectively but not having a bet
There won't be many Hannon horses rated 51 and I've had a little eye on this Efron after watching it on 2nd start in a Sandown maiden. 8/1 off that mark at Kempton here 6.10, I'm keen to play.
To be honest Kaiser I wouldn't wipe me arse with the form of the Champion Bumper. We seen what Bellshill done with Modus the next day so I wouldn't take that form too seriously. And that's before you factor in how often we've seen these highly touted Pipe novice hurdlers get lapped when they meet the proper horses at the Festival! Like King's Palace what he'll do is keep the price out on the class horses so hopefully he'll win a few soft races through the winter! Never heard Free Eagle touted for the Juddmonte at any point, maybe he was? It certainly seems the perfect race and ground for him. I know Smullen saying the Irish Champion and Arc are on the agenda for him so maybe they've had issues since Ascot. I'd say there mad not running as hes ground dependent, whether they'll get quick ground later on is questionable.
Also thought Free Eagle would relish a Juddmonte as York is not too dissimilar from Leopardstown. I believe however that Weld may have said in an interview that it's straight to the Arc with him?
Didn't hear it myself mate but I've heard Smullen said at the Shergar Cup it was ICS then Arc. Ground concerns for me with that agenda. Sure there's waterlogged tracks in Ireland midsummer, DK must be hearing of the much fabled Indian Summer...
Aye Pipe novice and Scudamore a negative, think it was much better than the bare form of the Bumper though, and Belshill was down the field there, Supasundae and Yanworth looked ok as well and the Hobbs thing. Might have been better than the previous years.
Fiona Craig, breeding advisor for owners Moyglare Stud, said: "I think York is probably looking less likely. I'm not sure it's settled in stone, but he'll probably go straight to Leopardstown. "He was very tired after he came home from Ascot. As everyone knows it was a bit of a rush to get him there anyway and he ran his heart out on the day. "He's in good form now again now, though. He worked on the racecourse at the Curragh on Monday morning as they'd had a bit of rain and it was beautiful ground. "We'd like to get to the Arc and we just think to run at York and then Leopardstown and then go to Longchamp would be a fair bit of racing in a short space of time. "I think he'll probably stay in the York race at the five-day stage, just in case it cuts up and the likes of Golden Horn and Gleneagles come out, but at the moment it looks like we'll wait for the autumn."
