Afternoon all, A couple for me tonight 7.00 - Cherry Street - 9/2 Bet365 BOG - Makes his h'cap debut off 84 tonight. Last seen winning a 1m 2f mdn with the 94 rated Humungosaur almost 6l back in third. Hoping the step upto 1m4f will see more improvement and providing he is fit from a 191 day lay off, i think he will go well. 7.20 - Opa Loca - 5/2 Bet365 BOG Ran against a few of these LTO in a maiden over CD, and i think with a more patient ride, although he wouldnt of beaten the winner, he would have finished in front of Sli Na Fiarana and further ahead of Sparkling View. The rest of the field dont look up to it. Singles and a double for me! Swansea, Real Madrid, PSV and Ajax in a Quad on the footy tonight as well
money talked on addikt. managed to grab a bit of 11/4 which will come in handy at aintree on friday (and work tomorrow as i have to bet to watch each race!)
Piri Wango 20:20 Dundalk. Hasn't been seen since winning here in November when staying on strongly and looking as if the mile might be more suitable off a steady pace. Johnny Murtagh takes the mount for Ger Lyons and the pair have a decent strike rate here together and at 7/1 generally, is definatly a solid e/w bet in what looks a useful race.
I like THOMASGAINSBROUGH in that race Savethehumans. Can't believe he is 5/1. Good luck with Piri Wango
Backed twice red ew in the next 8/1, think it should go really close but if it falls a little short i can make a small profit!
Good ride by Johnny for sure, just saw the mile out that bit better and a nice way to finish the day for me. I won't pop any crackers because a few of you were on others in the race and i'm nice like that.
Not a strong opinion but i think the fact Aloof has had a spin round Dundalk may stand to her in the 9:15. It will be a no bet race for me though as i really can't split the 3 apart from clutching to the fact of experience at the track.
You may well be right, i won't be suprised unless the outsider wins as i feel any of the other 3 can win if ready for it. If you have Devotion backed, i hope it wins for ya.
